Preparation Protocol:
- Thaw all reagents on ice
- Prepare master mix in a nuclease-free tube
- Add components in the following order: Water → Buffer → dNTPs → Primers → MgCl₂ → Polymerase
- Mix gently by pipetting, avoid bubbles
- Aliquot - µL master mix per reaction tube
- Add template DNA to each tube
- Briefly centrifuge before placing in thermocycler

What is PCR?
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a fundamental laboratory technique that amplifies specific DNA sequences, creating millions of copies from a small initial sample. The PCR master mix is a pre-mixed solution containing all essential components for DNA amplification: DNA polymerase enzyme, primers, nucleotides (dNTPs), buffer, and magnesium ions. This optimized mixture ensures consistent, efficient amplification reactions for various applications including genetic research, diagnostics, and forensic analysis.
